I bought This for 20 pesos at watsons. It contains 8 ml. Good for 6-8 uses.

It is a Thick, gel-like consistency. but, turns into a water -like consistency after a few minutes/

The mask feels like a gel but after a few minutes, It feels like it has turned into a water like consistency.
When you massage the product in your skin, white flecks of product will appear which will help in gently exfoliating the face.

During Application
Face is covered with the mask

After washing off mask
Skin feels refreshed and there is noticeable instant brightening effect
Note: Sorry for the Lighting difference but skin does look brightened

  • WHITENING- It did Brighten my face instantly but, I haven't used the product long enough to see if it can really whiten the face in the long run.
  • EXFOLIATING- the flecks of product that appears on the face serves as an exfoliator that scrubs the face gently as you massage your face.
  • HYDRATES- my skin does feel hydrated and cool after washing off the mask
  • PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF ACNE- I haven't used this product long enough to see
  • CONTROLS OIL- after washing of the mask skin is oil free
  • REDUCES ACNE SCARS AND PIGMENTATION- I haven't used this product long enough to see a difference on my acne scars.

FINAL VERDICT:

I like the fact that it is a wash off mask because my previous experience with IWhite Korea's Peel of mask was very painful. This did not tug my facial hairs(Yes. I have them) and this did what its supposed to do.

It has an instant brightening effect after the wash and my skin really does feel pampered and hydrated. I sure hope with continued use it will help make my skin look better.

Overall I rate this wash off mask 5 out of 5.

IWhite Whitening Pack Peel off Mask Review

This super cute sachet is a product of IWhite Korea. It is a peel of mask that is supposed to whiten the face.

PRICE:

I bought it for 20 pesos. It has 8ml of product that is good for three to four uses.

PACKAGING:

It is in a sachet. No Resealable cap. You have to be careful in storing this because it will spill.

FORMULA:

When I first used the product, It came in a glue -like consistency but some parts of it was clear (like egg white)

After a few days, the product became thicker and more glue like. The color is now all white.
.
This is what the product looked like after being exposed to air. (after 4 days of exposure)

It is hard to blend because of its thick consistency. Like spreading glue on your face.

PERFORMANCE:

What the mask looks.
Removing the mask should be a satisfying and pampering experience but, it turned out to be hell. The mask pulled on the hairs on my face making the removing process VERY PAINFUL. It wasn't a slight tug, It was really pulling my facial hair. Sadly, I did not enjoy applying and removing it.

After
Before
The skin brightened up a bit.  No  major difference.

Note: Sorry for the lighting Difference

FINAL VERDICT:

I do not like this mask because it is hard to apply and blend and it is painful to remove. It is not pampering at all. Plus, I don't see any noticeable changes on my skin, just very little brightening of the face.

I will not buy this product again. If you are hairy like me, do not buy this. you'll end up regretting it. Try their 2 minute miracle mask. That one is a wash off type of mask. (see my IWhite Korea 2 minute miracle review)

Overall I would rate this 1 out of 5.

Quick FX CC Cream Review

Hello there! This will be a blog about Quick FX CC Cream.

CC Creams are used to 'Color Correct' any redness and imperfections on the skin. It is similar to BB Creams because of its sun protection and skin benefits in the long run. What makes CC Creams and BB Creams Different is that BB Creams conceals while CC creams corrects. Personally, I would prefer CC creams over BB Creams because, I don't have that much to conceal and I only want something to even out my skin tone.

PRICE:

I bought this at Watsons for Php 90. It has 10 grams of product.

PACKAGING:

The sachet comes with a resealable cap similar with all their products. Very Travel Friendly.

FORMULA:

The formula is very liquidy and runny. It comes in a greenish color with tiny reddish beads.

It is very easy to blend. And when you blend this out, it becomes a brownish tint. MAGIC! @@

SHADES:

As for the shades, This product claims to blend and adapt to any skin tone so it comes only in one shade. The shade would only be suitable for medium to light skin tones. I think it would look too grayish or too light on darker tones.

PERFORMANCE:

With CC Cream (Left) VS Without CC Cream (Right)

As a CC Cream it does what its supposed to do. It Corrected the redness around my nose and my dark circles a bit. It has sheer coverage. It evened out my skin tone. Perfect for a natural everyday look.

CLAIMS:

Color Correct- Yes.corrected a little of the redness
Conceals- No. It has sheer coverage; evens skin but does not cover blemishes
Hydrates- Yes. Makes skin feel moisturized
Protects- Maybe. It has no indicated SPF
Illuminate Skin- Yes. A little dewy.

LONGEVITY:

It can last for 4 to 5 hours before I oil up. The oil gives a certain 'Glow' which is not bothering. After 8 hours, I became really oily and the CC cream on my face is gone.

FINAL VERDICT:

As a CC cream, it is an Okay product (not amazing/life changing product). It evened out my skin tone well and it corrected the redness a bit. It is super light and is perfect for everyday use.

If you are on a budget and want to achieve a natural glowy look(suggested for people with little to none breakouts), you may want to try this out.

Overall, I rate this product 3.5 out of 5

LOL Creme Illuminator Review

For Summer, I want my makeup to be more glowing. I have been obsessed with watching dewy makeup tutorials on youtube and I wanted to recreate the same look with the use of highlighters. So, when I came across the LOL stand and saw this cute creme illuminator, I just had to try this out.

PRICE:

I got this Creme Illuminator for 199 pesos. This has 4 ml of product.

PACKAGING:

The brand Lots Of Love (LOL) has a very cute product line. This illuminator comes in a squeezable tube with a small opening. No messy spills!

SHADE:

This comes in three shades; A white one, an orange one, and a pink one.

I got the shade '02 The new nude', the orange toned illuminator, over the white illuminator thinking that the lighter one will look too white and fake on me. This shade blends well with my skin tone thus, giving little to none highlight.
I should've bought the white illuminator because, this shade doesn't highlight my face at all. -.-

FORMULATION:

It is thick and creamy. It has a mix of very fine, tiny glitters and some bigger glitters. The bigger glitters are not that bothering. It is just enough to give a little bit of shine

PERFORMANCE:

Without (left)                                              With (Right)

I applied it above my eyebrows, on my cheekbones, on the bridge of my nose, on my cupid's bow and a little on the chin.

There is very little glow and does not catch light enough. It will only reflect light once light is focused on the product.

It is super sticky on the face. The stickiness is really bothering. I always have the urge to set it with powder.
Since I got a shade that matches my face, The illuminator only gives a glow but it does not highlight my face. (I really should've bought the lighter shade)

FINAL VERDICT:

I do not like this because it is super sticky and it has very little glow. I honestly don't know what to do with this product.

Will I repurchase? No. I would probably try powder highlighters.

Overall I would rate this 1 out of  5

Maybelline All-in-one Shine free Pressed Powder Review

I bought this powder to see if it's a good everyday powder. I was looking for something that looks natural but has a little coverage. I bought the refill one.

PRICE:

I bought it at Watson's for Php 99. The product contains 3 grams.

PACKAGING:

The packaging looks great! It comes in a girly, pink, and tiny compact perfect for travelling. It has a sponge with a plastic separator (Very hygienic) and it has a mirror. (Yes! This refill has a mirror)

FORMULATION:

  • The powder itself is fine. It is smooth when applied on the Skin
  • It has SPF 32PA+++
  • It comes in 5 Shades (I think).  I got the Shade in 02 Nude Beige. This has a yellow undertone. The shades don't do much for me because, even if you choose the darkest shade, it will still look white on the face. . . well. . . at least for me. (I also have their darkest shade in 05 Sand Beige).

PERFORMANCE:

Photo with Flash
It looks okay in photos but you have to blend it well to avoid looking patchy
If you have dry skin, I suggest you only put a very thin layer because, it will look cakey if you put on too much

PROS:
  • It has a matte finish upon application
  • Has SPF 32PA+++
  • Evened out my Skin tone
  • Light to Medium Coverage (Covered redness around nose and under eye bags)
  • Smooth Finish

CONS:
  • White cast- Probably because its too bright for my face and i've put on too much
  • Looks kind of Grayish on my Skin. (Both 05 Sand Beige and 02 Nude Beige looks Grayish on me).
  • May face oiled up after 4 hours (Does not control Shine ALL DAY)

AFTER 4 HOURS...

Photo under natural light.
Face is oily but the powder is still there.

The powder is still there and it looks way better compared to how it looked the when freshly applied on the face. It looks more natural now. My face is really oily. The oil control only lasted for 3 hours on my combination skin + super hot day.

After Blotting, it looks okay. I don't feel the need to retouch with powder.

FINAL VERDICT:

I would recommend this to people who wants to have instant brightening from  powders. I honestly would like to use this as an everyday powder because it has some coverage. The only thing that turned me off was that it somehow looks too white for my liking. Under natural light, you can really see that you've applied powder to your face. I want a powder to match my skin and not make it too white. It also did nothing to control oil. I still oil up pretty much the same.

Give it a try to if you are not too bothered by the color payoff.

Overall I would rate this 3.5 out of 5.
