Back of the packaging

PACKAGING:

This comes in a small, plastic tube with a twist at the bottom. The product is flat like typical lip balms. Very small and compact.

FORMULA:

The formula is waxy and just like all of the lip balms from Maybelline, it has a strong candy like scent. The scent may be bothering to those who are sensitive to smells but, I personally like it.

12 HOUR MOISTURE?

I have really dry lips and this gives my lips immediate relief and moisture that it needs. But, the moisture did not last for twelve hours.

After one hour, I can still feel the moisture but my lips are starting to flake up.

After two hours, my lips are dry again and is in need of moisture again.

FINAL VERDICT:

I like their lip balms because they do the job and give moisture to my dry lips. Although it is not 12 hour moisture, I don't mind reapplying it because I like the strong candy scent. It also has SPF 20 which is a plus compared to other brands that has no SPF.

Overall I give this 4 out of 5

Careline Oil Control Liquid Makeup Review

PRICE:

I bought this for 90 pesos at watsons. This is available at any Careline Stall nationwide.

Back of the Tube

PACKAGING:

It comes in a small, plastic Squeezable tube. Very cute and very travel friendly.

Small opening gives you control over how much product you want to use.

FORMULATION:

  • It has a sweet vanilla scent which I like.
  • Did not break me out
  • Very blendable
  • Sheer coverage. Cannot conceal dark pimple marks and very dark under eye area
  • Evens skin
  • Has parabens
  • No SPF

I got the shade Oriental

It has a yellow undertone
It has a liquidy consistency but it is not runny.

Blends really easy.
It blends well with my skin tone.

PERFORMANCE:

With (left) VS Without (Right)
Photo under artificial light
It evened out my skin and reduced a little of the redness around my nose and concealed my dark circles.
It has sheer coverage.

Photo with Flash
It does not give an obvious white cast.
Finish is dewy

Photo under natural light
Set with Powder
Setting it gives more coverage and gives a smoother appearance.

FINAL VERDICT:

This give you a natural no make up looking finish. This is great for teens because it looks natural.
If you are more of a full coverage girl and has more imperfections that you want to hide, this product is not for you.

I wouldn't recommend this because there are lots of other natural looking products out there that has other benefits (like vitamins and SPF).

I give it 2 out of 5

Careline Oil Control Blush Enriched with Vitamin E Review in Pinkish Blush

Product Description:
"Now Careline Single Blush-On is made better for a more Prettilicious you! Have a natural looking blush without the danger of oily skin ruining your day. With its oil control and vitamin E enriched formula, you remain oil-free all day long without over-drying your sensitive skin. You stay moisturized without the grease all the time!"

PRICE:

I bought it at watsons for 90 pesos.

PACKAGING:

White plastic compact with a clear top and puff for the blush.
The powder is fully packed because after dropping it (accidentally) on the floor multiple times, the blush is still in the pan

The puff is very soft but i don't use it for applying the blush. I prefer using a brush because, it gets patchy when i use the puff.

FORMULA:

I got the shade 'Pinkish Blush'
It is a light pink shade for a subtle flush of color.
It is in a powder form. This shade is for people with fair skin because it would give off a weird cast on darker skin.

I apply this with a brush to avoid getting that weird cast and patchy look.

LONGEVITY:

It lasts all day and I can still see the blush after 4 hours.

FINAL VERDICT:

It is an okay blush. It lasts long and is pigmented. Just get the right shade for your skin tone because it has a weird cast on the skin.

Overall I give this 3 out of  5
